ISM is an independent study and mentorship program offered by the friscoisd school district. This program offers juniors and seniors to research and gain experience in their career field of choice. It allows them to see if their career field is really for them and allows them to dip their toes in the field a bit by working with mentors, networking with other students from different schools who are also interested in their field, and networking with people of their career choice. This program is an amazing opportunity that not many students have. It gives a hand on one of a kind  experince that not many people get to have.
